Landscape Architect Ray Freeman talks about his LARE prep course. Ray is currently the Instructor/Coordinator at Freeman & Jewell. Ray Freeman is a registered Landscape Architect in California #3722, Massachusetts #928, and North Carolina #356. He has been licensed since 1980. He is also a CPESC (Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control) #413, a national certification.
Mr. Freeman’s current professional interests include the Landscape Architects Registration Examination. He is a technical content expert on the exam and teaches LARE review courses approximately two months ahead of all exam periods. The classes are very intense, taking 2-3 days over an extended weekend to cover a class. The exam is covered in three courses, Sections 1&2, Section 3, and Section 4. Course syllabii vary from 290 to 490 pages.
Mr. Freeman is also interested in ecological stormwater management practices and designs including stormwater retention site planning and design, technical implementation as well as phytormediation of stormwater pollutants.
